Thanks Jeff, I’ve noticed that stills in the Viewer seem to have better resolution and are sharper than the same image in the canvas. Will that be the case after I’ve created my DVD or any final movie? And is that the result of the image in an NTSC format?

First off Mike thanks for taking the time to responed. Your help is appreciated. It sounds like for the short term I can use my DV deck and I will try that out first, I like the idea of saving a few bucks. For the long term though I will begin research of the AJA board. My goal is to make sure that I’m looking at an image that is setup as accurate as possible for my customers (or as close as I can). For now my output for final delivery of the videos will mostly be DVD. Thanks again for the help. RJ
