I’m planning to use Final Cut Studio 6. As far as the I/O device or card, I don’t have one yet. I’m looking for a simple cost-effective solution. Any recommendations?

Thanks for the brochure. I checked the back of my deck again. You’re correct. There is a spot that will take the firewire, but looks like I never had the optional DSBK-190 ilink installed. It’s just blank with a plate covering the outlet. I bought this deck back in 2001 and overlooked having the firewire included. Thanks again for following up with me on this.

Unfortunately, my dsr 2000 does not have a firewire connector. i might have an older model than the one you’re referring to. thanks.
