  • My point exactly… 😉

  • 5.1.1? Really? So you got the update before everyone else?? 😀

  • Nope. Don’t see it happening. Good thing, too. Not even AE has it. For a good reason. Adobe left that part up to a third party also (C4D).

  • Do you mean what you see here? (starting at 9:25)

The master is the one you will find in the Template Browser (⌘⇧O). And reinstalling won’t change anything about their resolution, since those are age old templates from a time where HD wasn’t a viable option. If you need them in HD, you’ll have to do the resizing yourself.

I would also highly recommend upgrading to version 5.

One has to wonder how you managed to edit the master of a template, since Motion will always open a copy of it when you choose one? You would literally have to have dug into the system library and opened the master from there.

The masters are in Library/Application Support/Final Cut Studio/Motion/Templates/Brush Strokes/. You could simply delete that (or the entire Templates) folder and reinstall using the Studio 3 installer, since those are old Motion 4 templates.

Okay. But we (I) still don’t know what is meant by the whole thing.

I don’t get what you’re saying/offering. You want to get rid of “keys” for FCP and Motion?? Sorry, but there is no way to transfer ownership/licenses of Mac App Store apps. If you’re talking about the Adobe products then you need to make that more clear. But even there I don’t know how you would make the transfer.

Zaxwerks hasn’t worked with FCP or Motion for a veeeeery long time. FCP 7 and M5 is where it ended. mObject is, as I noted, your only decent option. I haven’t checked, but I wouldn’t be surprised if one of their model packs didn’t in fact have an anvil in it. Otherwise, aside from being able to import vector files to extrude, you can import any given .obj you can find on the net, where there’s sure to be a plethora of anvil’s to choose from.

And I don’t know Stephen’s training, but I can’t imagine that there’s anything that Mark’s Motion 5 training over at Ripple Training doesn’t cover. The best and most comprehensive I know of in the english language.

You can’t. At least not with the onboard toolset. Otherwise you might want to look at something like mObject.
