Yes. Simply click the pop-up next to the angle name in the angle editor an select “Add Angle”.
After placing the new clip into the angle viewer you can also set the angle you want to sync the new angle to as your monitoring angle and then select “Sync to Monitoring Angle” to auto-sync.

I never said or meant that I was. I was merely saying that I can see the advantages and allure of CW more than that of DL. My personal experiences with DL have been anything but “nice”. But then I haven’t used it in the most recent incarnation, so it may well have gotten to a point where even I would consider it. I’ll have to check, should the need actually come up again. But I’ve opted to do the vast majority of things that I need in terms of motion graphics and general visual effects in Motion in the last years, for speed reasons alone.

I don’t see how you could be “leaving in place” when coming from a camera, card or archive, since that option is or at least SHOULD be greyed out for imho obvious reasons. You obviously don’t want to be (and again, shouldn’t be able to) working of the card itself. And yes, Jeremy is right, that FCP will rewrap and therefore first have to copy the media somewhere either way. So a few things aren’t making sense.
And if the directory of the files isn’t in fact changing between restarts of FCP, then I don’t understand why the files should be going offline either, no.

Though I admit that they clearly have made some big changes to how this works that I hadn’t even noticed yet (hence my above claim which in fact used to be the case), I’m not seeing any such “Trash folder” or any of the other behaviour you describe. In fact after trying this and that I can’t even seem to figure out what it IS in fact doing and when. Nothing I delete is in actually disappearing from within my library. Restart or not. Which doesn’t strike me as the right behaviour in any case. Even deleting the master clip in the event isn’t met with a dialog box, nor is the clip in the project being subsequently deleted either as it used to. Match framing the clip in the project makes the clip reappear in the event and other oddities. Hmmm… I’ll have to investigate… my curiosity is peaked.

Only that that would be factually incorrect in context and not the least be useful. I find it far more helpful to point to the fact that, if needed, you still have the option to restore deleted files from said trash, as opposed to some meaningless abbreviation/metaphor.
