Gotta hate the vendors that don’t make the minimal effort to make their temp and full version absolutely IDENTICAL in terms of length etc.. It’s not exactly hard to do. ????

In fact one of the reasons I use premiumbeats.com when and if possible, since with them you don’t run into that problem. But they have a lot of other perks as well. Otherwise I use the ol’ compound clip trick as well, but it’s nice not to have to.

That’s because you’re only seeing half the vertical resolution that way. Try turning on SHOW BOTH FIELDS. ????

Wow. Intriguing. Will have to test.

But yes, either way, if the font was not yet active upon starting FCP you’ll have to restart. But with the speed of FCP’s restarts… not exactly an issue imho.

Good question. How is editing the compound OUT of context more helpful or more effective than IN context of the project it’s in? The result is the same in both cases, only you can SEE what you’re doing when in the project as opposed to when in the CC.

And since they aren’t (they’re both in separate secondary storylines) this unfortunately won’t actually work. Simply not having them in separate storylines (or no storyline at all) would make matters much easier/less confusing.
