Yes, but I was wondering if there was something built into a software package or perhaps a plugin for it.

    Thanks,
    Robert:-)

Assuming you are on a Macintosh, close all running programs then go to Utilities and launch Disk Utility. Then click on Macintosh HD or whatever your boot drive is and at the bottom right click Repair Permissions.

To delete the preferences go to Finder, hold down the Option key, click Go then Library. Navigate to the Prefereces folder in Library and delete anything that starts with com.avid .

Be aware that you will loose your settings in Media Composer or Symphony, perhaps even any user profile you created.

Again I would suggest 6.5.2.1 if you are not already running that update.

    Hope that helps,

    Hello,

There is a discussion on one of the CML mailing lists about this issue. Make sure the Pix is running the latest firmware and that the caddy and SSD are on the approved list. Some folks are apparently still having trouble but most are OK with the correct firmware and hardware. Pix is continuing to troubleshoot the issue.

    Hope that helps,

Personally, this notalentwannabe hopes people don’t imitate this look. We are STILL enduring shaky cam, movies and stills that are too vivid and sharpened, and superfluous lens flares.

Now we have to endure stuff that resembles log not graded.

    ARRRRRRRGH!!

Oh, and green inside shots that take us out of the story.

Surely there is an old saying about crap imitating art.

I had something like this at one point.

Make sure you are on 6.5.2.1. Also delete preferences & run Disk Permissions in Drive Utility if needed.

    Good Luck,

I am interested in this also but since 10 is still in private beta probably no one can say much.

I am not having any luck getting Resolve 9.x lite to export or show 1080p footage as scope. Any good tutorials?

April 10, 2013 at 4:18 pm in reply to: LHI With Intensity Pro ?

[David Kuhnen] “”SDI and HDMI at the same time” no. With the LHi (and I would think virtually any capture card) you have to select only one input connection/format at any given time. You would have to chose SDI ‘or’ HDMI.

I think the LHi would actually replace all the capabilities of the Intensity Pro.”

Yeah, that has been my experience, one input at a time. One can dream, eh?

As I indicated, I need HDMI and SDI at the same time for streaming inputs so I need two cards if I can only use one input at a time. Hence the compatibility wondering. Folks have indicated that an Intensity pro and a Decklink surprisingly do not coexists properly.

    Thank for your reply,
    Robert

Did I miss it or did you not specify your graphics card?

For CS6 anything video, get a NVIDIA card from macvidcards and do the hacks to get AE, etc to recognize the card. I have a 570 with 2.5 GB on the card. My 2009 Mac Pro (24gb ram) does things faster than it should:-)
