Has anyone worked with this, and is it really so smooth to work with, as you see on avid homepage, or does it “stutter up” your workflow (rendering times etc.)?

—–> It is smooth sail’n, I Love it. I have taken the time to learn everything about script based editing and Avid Script Sync. It’s glorious. I have now used is on a Sundance Official Selection Doc as well as Cutting various types of sitcoms. It is more of a reference, a great way for organization of clips. There is no render, it just syncs picture and script. It takes me less than five minutes to sync hour long interview takes to the transcriptions.
