    I did call AJA and Apple, but they didn’t really have a clue.

    As for the offset, which one? Capture offset (currently at -1.5) or Playback offset (at +00:00:00:01).

    Also, don’t forget about the special Function key most laptops have (pretty much every laptop as far as I know), labelled as Fn. This gives you all the keys that are on a regular keyboard (numeric keypad, etc)
