The only way i figured out how to do this is to “cut” and “paste”
keep in mind you may lose what you cut!

Can you please tell me how to get the long range of flare. (Is that the right term?) for the extended flare?

I’m sorry it should say Flare Type for the video filter > quicktime > lens flare.

What should I put there?

Hey Stephen. I need your help. When you apply a video filter>QuickTime>lens flare. What are you supposed to put in the flare map? Also. When using the generators >lens flare What goes in the streak map?

It didn’t work for me. I tried that.

The problem is my Intel Mac Pro won’t let me install Livetype. I would need to keep an old Mac around that has the ability to install livetype?

No, you are not mistaken – there is not yet parity between elements in LiveType and elements in Motion.

But, if you’ve used Livetype, what was created there are not available again in Motion 4.

There’s some good stuff in livetype like objects, and effects and textures.
