  • How do you get media out of the bin in Final Cut Pro?

Posted by Robert Bracken on April 14, 2011 at 1:50 pm

I accidentally dragged media into a bin in my final cut pro project and now I want it out of the bin.
    How do I do that?

The only way i figured out how to do this is to “cut” and “paste”
keep in mind you may lose what you cut!

Can’t you just drag it back out of the bin or do an Option-Drag to duplicate it and then delete the one in the bin?

If you want it out of the bin and loose in the project, drag it to the header bar.

Drag it out of the bin to the name column header.

    All the best,
