  • Hi Vince, thanks!

I’d mentioned my awareness of the ‘nesting method’ in my post. I was just wondering if there was a better way. It seems weird to me that an adjustment layer would have dominance over the moment of lower layers in the first place. I don’t think they work that way in “After Effects”.

The ‘nesting method’ is a problem for me because I typically do a bit of fine-tune tweaking before my final delivery and burrowing down into nest is a bit of an impediment as my adjustments are a bit blind at that level.

You are very kind to test this John. Thank you so much! I’ve been so busy I haven’t had time to look deeper into this until today. I finally figured it out it seem there’s a button on the timeline that needs to but set to “on” in order to basically make a precomp of the source mulitcam video tracks (and I of course somehow had it set to “off”).

I’m attaching a jpg of the button so that if you or anyone in the future has this problem they might discover the solution here.

    Thanks again my friend!

I’m not sure if this is helpful to your situation but I found, yesterday, that my Lumetri Colors were switching on/off seemingly at random until I discovered that the two places it was happening were places where I had a title above it (actually it think it was happening in the space between two title segments above it) anyway, the only work around I found was to make an adjustment layer and place Lumetri Color effect in an adjustment layer directly above the clip I was wanting to effect. It’s an unbelievably frustrating BUG .

I’m really starting to think that Adobe doesn’t listen to user Feature Requests. When was this suggested, 2014?
