Funny! Again, this is a low budget spoof for his website and client base only. It’s hosted on his site and via flash. It’s not for broadcast, youtube, vimeo, etc.

It’s interesting just how many posters / moderators here on CC repeatedly avoid helping with a solution to the main question and seem to relish in being able to share their wit and personal opinions.

None the less I found my solution on using scanned photo’s in FCP projects via a Google search as usual.

    Cheers

We want this to look like a $10 million dollar shoot for pennies! 😉 I figured stating that we are using 1920×1080 footage would be sufficient in gaining some help. Let’s jut say this will live on the web only and for his practice as an entertainment attorney. This is low budget and he understands that. Expectations are B-Movie style.

  • Sorry for the confusion. All the steps you suggest are completed Dave. All edits of the talent are done in FCP as of today and ready to be keyed and animated.

With that in mind, what’s the workflow you’d prefer? Composite and animate in Motion 4 or After Effects.

    Thanks for the advice.

Thank you for the quick reply.

What about the top of my “box” as I have the original sparks coming down on the floor over and above my logo that I’ve replicated into a box?

BTW….I am using your training videos to learn Motion. Been reviewing them for a month or so now. You’ve helped me before with issues in the training modules and your training is great.

    Thank you for the reply.

What keying filter would you suggest in Motion 4. Or is there a 3rd party plug-in for Motion 4? Primatte is avail in Motion 4 but it’s kind of a joke.

I was just going to try the latest Keylight for FCP 7. It’s not avail for Motion 4. Would it be best to key in FCP, export and then import in Motion either directly or again through FCP and the “send to” function? My goal is to re create this……

    Thanks for the help.
