    No it doesn’t. I’m using the easy mode settings most of the time. I’ll use it with the stabilizing off. I’m shooting a wedding next. Thanks for the response.

    I’ve tried all of those things. I might have a virus affecting the avid software. I’m getting an Avidstartup error when I boot the machine. Just a guess. It works when I use the Sorenson compression but not when I use the same as source settings. I might have to reload the software to see if this fixes it but I have projects I need to finish first. What is the best quality for using in DVD creation?

    Thanks for the response Michael. I have tried sequences with straight cuts and no effects at all. I get the same error. I can export with compression settings but I can see stepping and tearing on the DVD’s. I don’t know if that’s from the camera (Canon GL2 set to SP and auto settings) or from the MySonic DVD software but I’m disappointed with the quality.
