Unfortunately, splines can’t branch like that. Neither can paths in Illustrator or masks in After Effects for that matter. You’re left using snap settings to put two splines carefully together. This is a common task among people who make trees or blood veins.
Being able to branch would be a massive step forward imo.
Samir (a moderator above) makes a plugin called DPIT which makes trees by arranging splines into a branching pattern, as does Greenworks.

Do you have a ‘Stage Object’ in the scene? If so, create another empty one above the first and Cinema will recognize i–Cinema only recognized the topmost Stage Object in your Object Manager hierarchy.

You want to import it into a material, then apply that material to an object, be it a plane, cube, background object, whatever. Create a new material. You can choose which channel you want to import the movie into. Most of the time, you’re going to use Luminance. You’d choose the Color channel if you’re using it on a background object. You’d use the Alpha channel if you needed to matte out parts of the movie you’ve imported into another channel.
Let’s say you’re using Luminance, which is the case for 90% of needs. There’s a horizontal box in the luminance channel–click that, root around your drive for your movie, and load it in. You’ll be prompted to copy the movie to the directory where your c4d file is saved. If your movie isn’t too big, go ahead. If it IS too big, get out of cinema and put your QT into a newly created folder named ‘tex’ in the same folder where you’re saving your cinema project file. Except for more advanced uses, you want to have your movies in a ‘tex’ folder next to your cinema projects.
But wait, not done. You have to tell cinema to play all frames, so click on the horizontal box with the name of your movie on it, and there’ll be an Animation tab at the top. Click that, and hit ‘calculate’ and cinema will look at your movie, figure out the frame rate and duration, and use that going forward. Apply this material to whatever object you want.
There are exceptions all over the place for this–playing your movie starting at F90 in Cinema for example, not playing all frames of your movie, looping your movie, ping-ponging, being able to see your movie in the editor window, etc. There are a hundred threads on this on this forum, so for more than these basics, you should search the cow c4d forum on the terms ‘animated texture’ or ‘qt texture’ or ‘quicktime texture’ or any of the above with ‘material’ instead of ‘texture.’ Good luck -govinda

If I understand you right, you want to model the SVA logo. What you mean by the sphere I can’t make out–do you want all the petals of the flower to be rounded on the front, do you want each of the parts of the logo to be kind of ‘balloony,’ or do you want the logo, all of its parts together, on a sphere?
What I think you’re saying is that you just want to model the logo and not have it be flat if you looked down at it from Top view in the XZ plane. Which is to say you want it to look like the actual petals on a flower. You’re in the world of polygon / point modeling for that, and even if you’re good, you’re in for a half day of work. Far too lengthy a post would be required to cover the steps involved, though if you search on my name from like 2002-2003 you’ll find a detailed post on how to do it from back in the day when I had more time on my hands and was here all the time.

Whoa! You went to an interpolation of 1 and it got better? Just so you know, normally you’ll need to go higher rather than lower in that number. How it worked for you with 1 is a mystery.
Here’s an example of 1, 8 and 32 entered into the Intermediate Points setting for the ‘path’ spline in a sweep nurbs:

Option B is like fingernails on a chalkboard for me, the default setting. Nothing kills a graphic like being able to see those segments. And note that the bezier spline itself has only two points, so none of that segmenting is the curve itself.
