  • Adobe uses a program called the Dynamic Link Server – which allows Premiere, After Effects, Encore, etc. to talk to each other. From my experience Dynamic Link is meant to manage one composition at a time – and move between programs – this is probably why premiere is seeing it as the same file.

    If you want multiple people working on the same project — best advice is to just render out the shot(s).

    The first edition Macbook Pros shipped with a PowerPC G4 Processor – which were 32-bit.
    Check your mac out to make sure that’s the case.
