    Simple answer: Yes, KONA 2 supports 1080i50 mode.

    As Gary points out, KONA 2 lists its modes by their FRAME rates, so in this case your “1080i50” (50 Fields/second) would use the settings labeled “1080i25” (25 Frames/second).

    There is no dedicated Timecode output, but Kona2 does embed timecode in the ancillary timecode (“RP-188”) packets in the SDI outputs.

    Be sure to set the “Output Timecode Offset” field in the Kona Control Panel to the “Starting Timecode” of the Sequence.

    The HDV Codec is not fast enough to do realtime capture. You will have to capture your other sources in another format (e.g. Uncompressed 8-bit) and then render.
