Hey. Any luck with getting this issue resolved?

I’m having the same problem.

Mac G5 Dual 2.5
Cinema 4D R11
After Effects CS3

Downloaded latest versions of plugins from Maxon. (I also tried the older versions).

Installed a copy of the “C4D.plugin” and the “CINEMA4DAE.aex” files into my After Effects plug in folder.

I get the same opening splash error.

I can’t open the .aec file Cinema 4D generated in After Effects, whether I double click it, or try to import it from within AE.

Could I be a bit of a bother, and perhaps ask you to give me a bit more detail on directions, or post a link with a bit more info?

Though I use AE a lot, I’m basically using it to do the same things, so my knowledge isn’t too extensive.

I recall reading about the two terms you described, but, I don’t know how to actually apply them.

Whether you can or can’t, I appreciate at least starting me in the right direction.
