Bummer.
We need to get into the weeds, here.
It sounds like your boom track was recorded at a different sampling rate than the sequence track is playing back.
Try this….(fingers crossed)…use Adobe Media Encoder to resample the audio track to the exact same settings as your sequence setting. This will create a new piece of audio media, which you will have to import and place in the sequence.
You might have to round trip, by opening the audio-in-question in its own sequence, all by itself.
Just to be clear.
Right click the audio in question and unlink it. Select it. Copy it. Open a new sequence. Paste it in there. Export but be sure to Queue the export in Adobe Media Encoder. Proper audio should be 48k at 16-bit. I have found that when going between Premiere and Audition, Audition resamples the audio to 32-bit float, and it generates new time code. (Note: I am using CS6.)

Try this.
Unlink the video and audio, by right clicking, choose unlink.
Right click the out-of-sync audio and set the speed to .999.
Hope it works!

Try the Effects > Color Correction > Three-Way Color Corrector
(Note also if you do any 3-way color corrector in FCP7 and XML out of 7 and into PP, the above mentioned effect will be applied, which is very helpful.)

After your video is edited, you will be back asking how to compress it for the web and asking why it looks wonky.
Edit in SD. Upload the SD finished file. It will look awesome.

Given a specific predicate. The decision to change is not about “what’s best for the editor.”
Producers are managing a business and need a way to make sure the shooting ratio stays profitable and PP XMLs into that system. Avid doesn’t. Producers get a cute infographic with their breakfast tea saying how much storage they’ve used, which is a way to say how much money you’ve spent.

Yes they are unrendered. But contemporary computers are fast so the rendering isn’t necessary. However, PP has a smart rendering feature that you should use. Basically render the clips first thing. Then when you change the clip here and there only the part that has changed will need to be rendered.
It’s also wise to right clip the clip in the project area and choose new sequence from clip.
It’s also wise to use the media browser to navigate to the clip first and drag the clip into the project.
