What do you mean by “synced” footage? Multicam? Or clapper to pic?

Just curious: How did you start this project? That is, did you lay the audio in first or the picture?

Did you try the gate? It worked pretty well. But it’s tricky to use.

Yeah. Select the audio hit CMD-8 and you’ll get some cool toys. There are more than this in the Effects library.

Hey Andrew…recently I started teaching a High School documentary filmmaking class and a narrative filmmaking class. I applied for and will probably get a grant for 5 iMacs i5s and 5 FCPXs. I was hoping to make all the media available to all the computers all the time. Is there a real way to do that, currently?
I also learn a lot from you posts, so thanks!
