that is a simple radial blur – zoom option

i just use an adjustment layer with levels on it. it tells me how bright everything is.

i dont see any length of time on your brush strokes…and it Should be all the way through the timeline…Although it does start from where you are in the timeline..make sure you are at the beginning and try again.

i thought only a certain few groups were doing 360 vr. Its not mainstream yet is it..or else im behind

I seriousely hate how the stroke effect changes depending on how zoomed in you are. you could pre compose and then make 3d. or instead of strokes sometimes i will use a drop shadow at 100 opaticty 0 distance, 0 softness..duplicate 5 times and then increase the softness of number 1 only and that gives me a nice hard edge

this is very basic…but hit u twice and you should see something that lasts 1 frame..try to extend it with your mouse and if there are keyframes they will need to be spaced out to the ends of that layer.

even though they are the same versions have you tried using save as to save as a previous version of AE then importing it

you can animate a mask..over a few stages.or you could animate some strokes or even do it old fashioned and create several stages of your growth and make it animatie like a regular old cartoon
