Creating a 360º VR ocen in after effects 2015
Hi,
Is there any plug-in, technique to creat a full VR 360º ocean in after effects?
I thought about psunami, contacted red giant, but they replied that Psunami isn’t a VR 360º enable, and they will ” put a feature request to submit to the development team”.Any ideas?
The only solution as far as I can see, it’s to use a full 3D software package to do this.

Sorry my English, not my native language,
360º VR Ocean, some way that the final output can be Ocean can be viewed in VR.
Psunami doesn’t do it, just research and found mettle aqua pak, but still I don’t know if it’s able to do it in VR.thanks

i thought only a certain few groups were doing 360 vr. Its not mainstream yet is it..or else im behind

So are you talking about an actual virtual reality scene that you walk around in? That is not possible to do in After Effects and you’d to create a scene in Unreal Engine or Unity or some other game engine that would support VR.
If you’re talking about a 360 video you could use Blender or similar software to create a scene and render it out as an equirectangular image. You would still need 360 video tools in AE like Mettle Skybox to work in 360.

I’m talking about 360 video, and blender is one of the answer, I also think that most 3d software packages does support of equiretangular images in the output, like 3dmax.
Anyway, that’s the trip I didn’t want to go, 3d packages, maybe psunami will suport it in the future.
