Why is this (export as QT mov) preferable to exporting to Compressor right from the FCP Export menu?

Thanks Todd, I’ll run some video through compressor.
Maybe I should ask about the input side since I way off on the output. We’re capturing 10 bit uncompressed NTSC through the AJA IO. Are we capturing more than we need here too?P.S. Forgot to include system specs
