Problem Exporting
I can’t seem to export my FCP movie to an mpeg 2 file, or for that matter any other video compatible with dvd studio pro. I read a couple posts back that I should be able to export as an mpeg 2, but I can’t seem to do it?

Export a QuickTime Movie current settings non-self-contained. Bring that into Compressor and chose the preset that works for you. Avoid any that say two-pass.

Why is this (export as QT mov) preferable to exporting to Compressor right from the FCP Export menu?
