  • Had the same problem and I solved it

Solution to that color shift between Premiere and AE

In AE highlight the clip, open effects control, collapse lumetri color effect that came across from premiere and engage high dynamic range tick (its at the top) This worked for me.

I had that same problem (even worst) when i render from AE CS6. It showed the worst as rendered AVI files, so i started rendering as QT and this helped a bit. In the end it was not a ram problem or codec problem. I started rendering to another drive and the problem went instantly thank God. So I don’t if it was a dive permission thing or what but that was my solution and it worked. So try switching render output to another drive.

This post might help someone else in the future with this problem

    Peace

I upgraded and now I’m getting that exact problem. I am going to try your solution and downgrade to my original version

  • I just set a system up with 4 fully remote cameras using ATEM tv studio.

It beats my tricaster system hands down

Will post video of the setup next week

I think if anyone using Premiere for some time say they haven’t encountered this problem, they’re lying to themselves. I could only hope they designed something better in CS5 but i doubt it. Why could’nt it be like FCP … I just put my audio where I want, the program works out the maths of whether its stereo, mono, 41khz, 48khz, wav, aif or what ever.

  • I have this exact same problem. I haven’t found a solution as yet. I’m running the same OS as you too. My card worked well in XP but after upgrading to Win 7 64 bit that was it. I may just have to send it back for repairs as well.

I use a SATA II raid with port multiplication along with a Caldigit SATA II raid card and it works pretty good for me. I can’t see myself going back to SCSI. Also with SATA III round the corner, SCSI really is not a good idea.

Wow horsey Wow! Easy there fellas.

Look you got me all wrong. I have a allot of money invested in AJA hardware, and it is in my best interest to fly the AJA flag. I’m not questioning the quality, performance or Price of AJA’s superior products. I’m just saying that too often when I suggest AJA to studios I keep getting “AJA… what’s that?” …but BMD they know all too well.
This analogy is kind of different but follow me here… there have been times that I have to explain to computer experts (younger ones mainly) who believe that AMD are the pioneers and Intel is the small clone company playing catch-up. The same can happen to AJA. So Bob it’s one thing to be in a bubble singing “we are the champions..” and the reality may be that many customers (who don’t care about price) are seeing the glitz and glamour of a competitor. AJA has made me quite a bit of money and its just my concerns and love for the AJA product that sparked this post that’s all.
