I was able to make the emitter stay on longer by increasing
the life variable, but it also changed the shape and look of the
emitter. The bush got larger and the flowers shrink and
then they separated from the bush and float into space. Not
a desirable feature for a flower bush. I can make it work fairly well on short clips but on longer clips (1000 frames) it doesn’t work right at all. I used the size variable and zoom to try to get the bush back to the size and shape I want but it doesn’t look good. If I give it enough life it ends up with the flowers floating away from the bush. It would be nice to have a switch that would freeze the emitter or a time variable that would extend the time before it starts erasing. It looks great for about 5 seconds
then it starts erasing. I tried turning on the switch ‘don’t erase’ in the project settings but it didn’t help. I’m not sure what that switch is actually suppose to do. I tried to make a new particle with the ‘don’t erase’ turned on but it didn’t work.
