Is the AvidFX, Sorensen Squeeze, and Avid DVD included in the free upgrade to mc6 after purchasing the 149. 5.5 upgrade

Sp if I buy mc 5.5 for $149.00 (upgrade fron mc 5.0) I get mc 6 for nothing?

If I could I would go for the Canon because I have tons of canon glass. But I am pretty content with my AF100 and more when I get the pix 220

Of course with everything on a servrr or cloud their wil be no app warez, you will pay monthly for use and they have access to all your info regardles of any non disclosure clause. o basicaly you only own your keyboard and monitor. All the rest is in the air.

Maybe Avid hardware should also be open to any software or at least to the main nle like ppro, fcpx,vegas, edius and even lighworks.
Btw avid studio looks remarably like fcpx and also has a magnetic timeline but this can be switched on or off.

Maybe avid should go the editshare way. giveout the app and sell the hardware.
