I think that the catalyst bundle and reslove 12 can be a killer combo suite.
Log and sort in prepare, edit in edit and finnish in resolve.
I would love to try this out but I cant get resolve to work on my old laptop.If someone can try this and let us know the results.

It seems that sony is tryng to develop a package of apps for the editor. They have sound forge and maybe vegas would be repacked to make is an fx app maybe catalyst motion. all tied to sony camera at least for its imprtans features.
It looks like sony is looking to capture the independant producer and indepent post. those that dont share with others.Ricardo Marty

Well it can see cinemadng but dont k ow abbout the arri flavor. Have you tried the recently released 2.0 version?

I saw the nab 2015 video on you tube and it states thar it will work with any camera except for a few function. All my cameras are sony but diwnload the trial and check. Let us know.

No it supports any camera. But has special browsing function for sony cameras.

Thanks for the info. I read from some reviewer that the windos version will only work 1 cpu. Is this correct?

If you read the resolve12 press release you get a feeling that they are out to grab adobe by the neck. i think its their driving motive.
