Arg, those damned quotes! I’ve run into this before. Thought I’d tried it for that particular comp, but maybe not. Was probably a different error, as I tried to run DuIK on the 2014 build of AE CC earlier on – BIG MISTAKE. :/

Anyway: thank you, and it’s great to see you on here! Loved your ‘triggering animation with markers’ method. Saved my butt on a series of projects I did a number of years ago.

Yes, you should be good! Like Ken Teutsch said, if you’re not doing lots of scaling, you should be good to go.

Also, if your artist isn’t familiar with prep for AE, make sure that they don’t save everything as CMYK! I have had that happen with artists before. During the good ol’ FinalCut Pro days, CMYK PSDs imported with super strange color profiles. Pretty psychedelic-looking!

Sorry, what exactly do you mean by “universal tool?” Are you asking if it automatically detects whether you want to add or remove points without you having to switch between Pen-, Pen+, Pen>, and regular Pen?
