    Hey thanks for the quick response. I m new to HD not sure what settings to use maybe that’s why I chose PAL. How do you kno if it’s a pal setting? It doesn’t say it on the load preset menu. Which setting should I use? I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you again.

    Sorry for the lack of information and I appreciate the response.
    I shot the video on a canon xh-a1 hdv 24fps. The settings I used to download into premiere(source settings) are as follows:

    Editing mode: hdv 1080p
    Timebase: 25 frames
    Frame size 1440x 1080 16:9
    pixel aspect ratio: HD anamorphic 1080
    Display format:25fps

    I exported as follows:

    Format: Mpeg-2
    Preset: NTSC 23.976p Widescreen High quality
    Frame rate:23.9

    Now I know that dvd’s arent HD quality but the resolution is blurry
    and washed out. Anything I can do?? Please help.
