We use our LH card for HDCAM downconversions to SDI for commercial broadcast playback – in a word “beautiful”.

    OK… hold on everyone!
If you are running a PAL system (don’t know about NTSC), I would wait before installing this update. We are now having some major bug issues and I will need to get these sorted out with AJA support, before reinstalling this version. Be warned!

Re-adjust the Display Playback settings to Full instead of Half in your Project settings…. should be fine.

Thanks… have upgraded the software, and all went well, apart from a few minor settings changes in projects.

Before I take the plunge, can I instal this update over the top of my existing LH 2.0.2 version?
Will I need to reinstal Premier, or lose any prefs?

I can email you a 3 frame clip of the sequence if you like.

I think I’ve exhausted all of my avenues for experimentation. What do you have in mind to try?

    Clip properties don’t reveal much!

The XENA captured files show 24 bit colour depth, data rate of 27.1 Mb/sec, 25 frames/sec at 720×576 PAR 1.422 (which is correct PAL widescreen pixel aspect) Codec is AJA Quicktime YUV 4:2:2 v210

The DPS captured file (an AVI) shows 32 bit colour depth uncompressed, with a video track depth of 24 bit. data rate of 29.7 Mb/sec, 25 frames/sec at 720×576 PAR 1.422
    Codec is uncompressed avi.

Incidentally, I have also tried XENA capturing avi, and also tried 4:3 aspect, but STILL have the same problem, so who knows?

Anyway, if you do manage to set up a Chroma Key under XENA, let me know if it was successful.

    Thanks again for your interest.
