Thanks for your reply Paul. Thats a great new feature that I love, but it wasn’t what I was referring to. My apologies for not being clear.

When you open the IPTC view in the Inspector (info), you have many windows of information. One of those windows (boxes) is the Content: Caption window. This is where you can view cation information that photographers include with their photos. If I hover my mouse over that window, the caption information will appear. BUT, I would rather just re-size the box, making it larger, to be able to read the in formation. In this updated version of FCPX 10.3.1 I can not.

I was asking to see if that is what others experience, or if there is a “trick” to re-sizing the window.

Noah, your post was very helpful. I transcoded the media to proxy, and did a test using that (not my normal workflow). Everything seems to work smooth as silk. I didn’t have this much trouble before the upgrade, but i did have some problems that I just worked through. I will use the proxy workflow in the future, and see howI like it. I’m sure I will. Thanks again for giving my brain a kick start!

I shot it with a Canon 305 video camera. The files are mxf 720p. Good thought, I could experiment with proxy files or pro Rez?
