I understand that its better to do it with the nattress software but i was wondering, how do you do it with the compressor? and how is the outcome? is it good quality?

sorry, its me again, please bear with me i have to finish this, ok i am going now through each and every shot and make sure that it look right, one more problem that i’m facing one, that there were shots of pictures that i made a zoom in too and now i see that the letter box changes too… what to do in this case (these are still photos and its zooms in to one and zoom out from the other )

ok this is really strange
i copied and past the seq. and it works (finally) , instead of dragging the whole seq. to the new one. but what’s really strange is that some of the footage got a letterbox and some didn’t?!!! even though the ones that didn’t were shot in the same way !!! when i match fram and re-edit the footage to the new seq. it looks fine …. do i have to go shot by shot and cange them all ?!!!!!

my easy set up is set to DV PAL
my sequence setting is : 720×576 CCIR 601/DV PAL (5:4)
ANAmorphic box is checked
field dominance – upper
tim-base 25
compressor – DV PAL

i create a new sequence with the exact setting and uncheck the anamorphic box and then i copy my anamorphic one to the new one and ….. still look stretched to the hight . no letter box

i need to print the tape ASAP , what to do?

the footage whs shot 16:9 on sony 150 and doesnt have a letterbox in my sequnce but it looks the right way (in the anamorphic seq)

so what could be the reason that the sequence is not changing when i move it to 4:3 sequence?!!!

i am using DV PAL timeline and the anamorphic option is not checked!!!
by the way what is the difference between 4:3 and 5:4?
2- when i move my master seq to the new 4:3 seq should the anamorphic option be checked!!!

so do you suggest that after finish everything create new sequence move my sequence to that new one and apply the effect to the whole movie

sorry but how do i deinterlace?
