Hi Gary,

Evil is right. I just got back from a shoot from China with over 2000 images. This is what I’m doing. I’m copying my images to another folder because I want to keep my originals untouched. I go to my new folder, I mark my portrait images with a star, turn them 90 degrees all at one time and set my action up for 720×480. I run my action and turn my portrait images back 90 degrees all at one time and I’m finished. This is fast and it works for me. Just put your imagination to work in CS2 and your on your way.

After playing with the actions the past hour, I’ve come to the conclusion that separateing the landscape pics from the portrait pictures would solve the problem.

I see your from Copenhagen. What a wonderful place. My wife & I were out there a couple of years ago. Great pedestrian walkway. The fjords in Norway are spectacular. I took plenty of movies and pictures to edit in Vegas.

Hi Allen,

Thanks for responding because I wanted to thank you for introducing me to the Maglev train from China. When I was on tour I had ask our tour manager about the Maglev Train. He took whoever was interested on the train to the airport and back to the subway station. That was quite an experience and I filmed the whole thing from start to finish. I found China very interesting and the people were very friendly. Now I have to go through over 2000 pictures, 11 hours of film and make a DVD or two on my experiences in traveling through China.

Hello Michael,

It’s funny that you memtion China. I just got home from a 3 week trip to China last night. Went to Beijing, Xi’an, Hangzhou, Shanghai, Yichang, 3 day cruise down the Yangtze River, Chongquig, Guilin and Hong Kong, plus a ride on the Maglev train. I took over 2000 pictures and over 11 hours of movies. I was wondering what they use myself in China, is it NTSC or PAL? Reading your message, it sounds like Pal is the more friendly format.
