Unless the image plays to choppy, you won’t notice the drop frames.

In certain situations people can’t even render when having a second monitor attached.
A second monitor always eats resources and can be a burden for a system short of GPU.

As Nick says.
To do multicam you need all the stuff to have the same specs.As Nick suggest, make test with Compressor set to Fast (nearest frame).
That’s done fast. Is just about dropping one frame per second.
As he suggests, you can try that as well dropping the p25 stuff on a p23,98 sequence, but in this case, open the clips speed (leave it at 100%) an uncheck “Frame Blending”.
FC will just drop frames without reprocessing the whole picture.

A clean install its really don’t exists.
After a “clean install” of MacOS, QT and FCP, the system normally is a real mess, full of wrong permissions and directories.
After a clean install, I always run DiskWarrior and I always find that at least 30% of the directories are “out of order”.
That application is the one that have made possible for me to work for 10 years on a place without any kind of service or technical support. Makes your Mac sing.

“Export” in QT means always recompression. Even if you are exporting to the same settings than your movie, you will lose a generation. And again, supports only 8b.

QTX has not export capabilities.
If you are using FCP, you should have QT.7 installed. That will prevent as well some Gamma issues.

You can use ClipWrap to rewrap/convert the clips, or 5DtoRGB.

Sorry, I got it the other way around.
Then is not just about flags. To get what you want you need to pass the audio through a mixer, so you will need to process it through some application.

You can open in QT the Properties (Cmd-J), click the Audio channel, and in the “Audio Setting” tab, check the Land R channels as Mono.Good to know that Handbrake now takes Prores.
No long ago it wasn’t possible.

It doesn’t import it.

Nothing wrong.
FCP prevents to export files bigger than 4GBs.
That’s the limit for FAT-32 media.
Chop your movie so the FMX don’t reach that size.
I think that if you keep the sequence below 14 minutes will go OK.
