You wrote that always stops at 25/33%, so on that area of your time-line may be some corrupt media, or may be the very project corrupted.
If there is some corrupted media, you have to find out which is the corrupt clip or still that is causing the troubles (do you have any MOTION project on your time line?),
You must to put the media off-line and them relink by bunches till you get in troubles again.That means that you have try to relink the faulty media.
There is not other way to do so.
If the problem is on the project file, you need to open the project with the media off-line and save with a different name.ANYWAY, before trying any of both methods, you should try to clean FC Preferences.

No problem about the conforming.
That will make that the picture plays at 25fps instead of 24fps (4% faster).
The picture will play at 25fps, but the audio won’t be anymore 48Khz, 49,92Khz.However I don’t see the reason why, if you drop your conformed master on a XDCAM-HD422/25fps (and render the sequence), your export has those problems.
You may try another option that would be a retiming/conversion in Compressor.
Then using FC just for the re-wrapping as MXF.

Apple has never explained the reason why, but the fact is that without QT.7 those color/gamma problems happen.If you want to get the same gamma in QT than in FC’s Canvas, you need to check “Allow FC Color Compatibility”, in the QT Player preferences.
QT will apply a gamma 2.2 correction, the same than FC apply to the Canvas.However, all this is flawed since the introduction of Snow Leopard.
Before Snow Leopard, the native screen Gamma was 1.8, so FC applied a 2.2 Gamma to get similar picture that you would get on any PC or TV (Gamma 2.2).
From Snow Leopard on, Apple started to apply a native Gamma of 2.2.
What’s the problem?
That FC keeps applying the same old 2.2 gamma correction to a picture that doesn’t need any more to be corrected because is already 2.2.
So you can’t trust FCs Canvas.
One solution is to set your screen gamma with the old 1.8 gamma. Then FC Canvas will be OK, and so QT with the “..FC Color Compatibility” checked. But out of FC and QT, everything will look washed out.I know, Aryn, that all this is a mess.
The only real solution is to use an external pro monitor.
That won’t be affected by the software setting; it will only display the real picture as the monitor get it.

That’s not very clear to me.
“Prores MXF” what means?
Prores is QT.
There is not “Prores MXF”[gaurav jain] “We rendered out a QT from our 24FPS timeline converted to XDCAM and then conformed to 25FPS. “
That sounds weird too.
Being a GOP format, XDCAM can’t be Conformed.The only way I know that FC can deliver MXF, is through the “Export XDCAM” option.

If I’m not wrong, the HDV codec is not the sane for PCs and Macs.
Same happens with DVCPro.
I’m afraid you will have to convert to something compatible,
