    Nice.
    Loved the Magic Smoke Wisps. Looked like slo-mo cigarette smoke.
    And the best of the ols user emitters was a nice touch.

    Sapphire also have an effect designed for this in their Time tab called FlickerRemove.
    If you don’t have the plugin, download the fully functioning demo from:

    It worked a treat on a similar situtaion we encountered.

    You can do it in AvidFX.
    Change the Track Media to Text of Track1. Then open up the Disclosure Triangles for that Track and select the Face track. Now select the Generator Tab and change the Generator Type to Timecode.
    The rest you can probably work out for yourself, but if you’re not familiar with AvidFX, then you may want to look at some of the tutorials on the Avid website made by Douglas in the Media Composer forums.

    I agree with the previous postees – excellent tutorial and shows some of the depths of the program.

    Have to say I actually hate effect in the film (though love the film!) and prefer the ones in the various series more, but this was an eye-opener. Thanks again.
