Let me just recap if I understand this correctly. If my sequence is set to DVC PRO 720’s 1.33 pixel aspect ratio, and I’m throwing in here a DV file with a 0.91 PAR — Premiere will adjust everything, nothing should be distorted, and no need to Interpret Footage? I am fully aware that I will have to resize that footage, crop it or who knows what to make it work artistically, but on a purely technical/math level — as a starting point, it should land on its feet “as is”, and not distorted, yes?
Also, that DV file has a slightly different frame rate and it is interlaced. Hmm…
I need to do some solid reading/viewing on the Interpret Footage box…
