I prefer Vegas over Avid over a lot of reasons. Vegas is more intuitive and can do easily what takes huge amount of tedius work in Avid.

I think the only reason that industry uses Avid to edit big movies but not Vegas is because Avid is there first.

It’s like when you marry someone first in your life. Then you meet someone else better, but you get stuck in marriage.
