Well, I would like to shoot in 24P to get as close to the film look as possible without actually shooting on film. That’s the whole draw of the Panasonic 24P. The only reason I would combine them is because I already own the VX2000 and would obviously still want/need to use it. All our shoots require a minumum of 2 cameras and sometimes 3.

You can see how we utilize two and three different angles on each shoot (one cam in the tow-boat, one in a chase boat, sometimes another on a fixed location) and I’d have to be able to edit all source footage together in the same Premiere project.
