Hi Brian
Sorry Brian, It did not work. This has happened even when I create a new project. I get a blank window with a new project name at the top…I do not know what’s going on there…
I tried even, selecting CTRL+SHIFT+ALT keys…nothing has happened.
Also I tried re-installing the PPro CS4 (used CS4 cleaner after uninstall before I re-install CS4).
Any other ideas guys?? please..I am in deep trouble and 2 of my friends are waiting to get their projects completed asap…

Mike, do u have QIO brans Sonnet unit?? How much u bought that unit and where u bought from?? Do u have website address where u bought it??
My idea is mounting in a HDD bay at front of the PC tower..so that it’s easy to swap the cards Do u know whether it works for M&M card adaptors also??
Are u happy with the product..do u have to boot the PC each time u swap a SXS mem card or M&M adaptor??

So u mean to say that I have to install a new drive for C:\ for OS and programs..So this means I have to move all the OS & Programs to HDD and leave the SAS/SATA RAID 5 array for data. If u do not mind, please explain in detail as I am new to this game….

Hi All
Is there any possibility of taking off one hardrive from C:\(two, 600GB drives) and name that drive as a D:\ (600GB HDD)drive and add another new hard drive (600GB)of same type(15,000rpm) and name as E:\ drive…so that I can install APProCS4 in C:\drive and all ther stuff in D:\ and E:\ and be still on RAID 5 system??

At present I am having three 600GB (15,000rpm)drives connected on SAS Controller and looks like one big drive C;\(0.98TB free of 1.08TB) with one SAS connector as a spare.
The problems I am facing with this present config: freezing out clips when play on monitor on time line on draft setting…I had to use Ctrl+Alt+Del to get out the prog.
Do u think that if I purchase another 600GB(15,000rpm)and connect to the SAS will act like a D:\ drive?
Probably I have to contact the configurer of this machine and sort it out locally…I am in a very confused state at present..thinking what to do next !!!
Still I would like to hear ur comments/suggestions for my never ending problems. Thx.

It seems to be very expensive…US$999.00 for a unit without the PCIe I/face card. But very impressevie unit.
I am waiting for some more response…Even original Sony SXS card reader with USB2 interface cable cost me A$450.00..I know that’s only for SXS. This particular unit is for Multicards…for Panasonic, etc., -

If u do not mind, I would like to know ur Dell system configuration…I am also looking to upgrade my dell System for the past few months..at present my Dell is a Pentium 4 -Dimension 8400 bought in 2008..it seems that now it’s obsolete.I have installed APPro CS4 there and found lots of problems..specially slownessin playing in time line. If u have Dell, I would like to know why u have u have not chosen Alienware ALX plus or i7960 processor machine??and selected a Dell workstation. FYI, I am willing to spend more than A$4000 this time..for a good Dell system.
