    OK, i’ve checked one more thing. I’ve exported my footage to DivX HD, and no black pixels were encoded, so i figured it is a glich in monitoring of the interlaced footage on a non-HD monitor, it must be it ;-).

    But still the question remains:
    Is Apple Intermediate Codec good enough for capture and editing?
    Please help me, i’m making a music video that’s going to be broadcasted on TV, it is very important for me to get the best quality i can with my limited resources ;-).

    I found the article about capturing HDV to ProRess via FireWire, and done that, everything looks great even thought i use my PowerBook G4 for capture and have to wait for ages for computer to proces after. But in the shoots with movement on the right side the same thing happened and those annoying black pixels apear.

    Does anyone had such problem?
