  • Thanks, I’ll keep that in mind next time, though I’ve never had problems with encoding pure white out of motion to MPEG-2 before, it just seemed odd that the grey stripes would appear on this particular project…

    One of the points caught my eye:

    4) Stick to one monitor. Dual monitors are great, and you can tear off any tab of the Motion interface to move it to another screen, but by running two monitors you are splitting the VRAM on your graphics card, which impacts performance (assuming, of course, that you are driving both monitors from the same card).

    I wonder how much this has to do with Motion performance since we use two 23″ cinema displays and I use a windows layout with the timeline on the second screen and all the rest on first screen…

    Yeah I’ve got exactly the same problem, did anyone find a solution for this?

    Basically I’d want to open the UDF DVD finder window to display the DVD contents… Any idea?
