yes, if you write in 4 audio track mode
only DVCPro 50, and HD modes

but if you work in DVCpro or DV or write on tape in DV mode (48 kHz)?

panasonic 300 have 1/3 lens

if you use 1/2 or 2/3 lens you search adapter for this, but
you try on adapter

few years ago i buy TLC adapter for sony dsr-300 – 1/2 matrix and mount 2/3 lens, but this adapter don’t good for JVC 5000 (jvc matrix 1/2)

try use hardware accelerator, like Mojo DX, Nitris DX

few years ago i work with 4 cam, but in soft mode computer not play, after link Mojo SDI multicam window works great

Hi for few last days i use 500. Color is “warm” going to yellow and red, but it is Panasonic. I change in camera menu gamma to “video” and “news”. Low contrast, high detail, master ped -2 (for sun days), white is preset (5600).

But indoor (indoor church – red bricks, very high and more sun light) picture is very pretty, litte going to red and yellow, but it is natural for panasonic. White balanse is 4000.

Lens is very bright (Fujinon H22x7,7)

Shift “picture” to Sony, you move yellow color to blue, and add more cold blue colors in high gamma. (I use avid media composer, and don’t talk about FC, how to do it)

Summary: from Panasonic picture is always different, but it is Panasonic.

i don’t remember now Panasonic HVX or Sony EX, but when you start-up JVC, camcorder automatic close iris, and after opens – check what doing ring on lens.
On broadcast camcorders, camera after start-up never auto close iris.
(i check now with dsr-570, but no have my JVC in home), after starts camcorder iris is extractly in position when you off camera.

If You clear matrix im JVC (similar to ABB) you go to simple servive menu. Ask dealer what doit. I don’t remember extractly, you must switch to HD-24P, and on first service menu.
