    Here’s the C4D file.

I’ve also noticed that the projection doesn’t affect the back of the pillars, or the polygons onto which the projecton doesn’t fall at all, but when there’s a polygon where the projection would partially fall, the whole image is projected. A good example is the right hand side of teh ellipse projected onto the back wall of the room. Also, the area behind the pillars.

    Thanks, guys.

I thought it might be a scripts thing.

I’m importing a text document containing a subtitle transcript into Ae. I’m then using an expression to fill the Source Text of a text layer, so that the index of the layer informs the expression which line of the text file to use.

Basically I’m looking to flow subtitle text into composition from a text document by duplicating the text layer.

The down side of this is that the text layer name updates with the expression, not the text it refers to. Because I’m duplicating the text layer, leaving the layer name blank won’t really work.

I have a feeling someone here might suggest a plug-in or script for automating subtitles in Ae. If that’s the case – recommend away!

    Thanks again.

No. It’s EXACTLY what i was looking for ?. Thank you.

I’m taking it that, once I’ve added cloudlets turbulence etc the smoke can twirl and dissipate as per normal rising smoke effects.

If you can let me know how that works, I’d be made up.

    Thanks again.
