I did set the drop down menu to “Custom”. It worked for Captured Video and Audio but for Previews, it would reset to my main hard drive where the project is stored.

Yes, I performed your test. It didn’t happen again. I even tried a 3rd sequence. It still didn’t happen.

I guess it’s just one of those unsolved mysteries. Time to move on.

It’s getting a bit boring. It was first used in the promos for the Tom Cruise movie, “Valkyrie”. Now, it’s getting a bit boring. It seems like every editor has to prove he can do it. There’s a current one running for a Disney animation film where there’s so much interference with the graphics that you can hardly read them.

I was unable to find “video usage” even by clicking the “Help” button. I tried “Remove Unused” but that didn’t work.
