  • No responses yet Dave so here’s my suggestion. Have you considered masks and also animation of say a Gaussian blur effect on your text? And probably on your brick wall if i understand your question correctly. Haven’t tried it but it should be straight forward.

When you upload to Youtube, and certainly after uploading when you can go to your Video Manager tab in your account, you can create an ‘annotation’. As stated an annotation can, “. . . . layer text, link, and hotspots over your video. They help you to enrich the video experience by adding information, interactivity and engagement.”

  • What are the specs of your original footage?

  • Very hard to see what is happening here as the image is very dark. Ratio looks a bit odd though. Turn off ‘Allow source to adjust frame size’ and see if that helps. If not, let us know the details of the original footage.

In the ‘Save as’ window is a selection box in the bottom left corner for copying media with the project. Does this do what you are after?
I have never used it but I guess it should.

You know of course that Auto Ripple has three options? (small chevron on the right of icon) Maybe you didn’t have ‘All tracks’ selected.

Wow and wow. First wow because, after being away overseas for four months I return home, reinstate the computer back-up files on the computer that my wife has managed to crash in my absence and on the second day of it being on – I get your response!!!! I am delighted.

And the second wow covers everything else; that you persevered, that you found a very elegant solution, and that you thought to share that solution. Haha, I am even more delighted!

And well done. As I said, very elegant and if anyone else reads this, I think a solution that might become popular with a lot of ‘creators’ out there.

Thanks again Fien and good luck with your future video projects.

Wow. Not sure what you are doing but it certainly doesn’t work the way you describing. Why are you double clicking?
