Sony Vegas 12 – Cropping away the left and right sides.
Like the title says, Im have trouble with unintentional cropping of my video when rendering, only the sides. Why is this happening?
The project is in 1280×720 (25frames, 1.0000 (Square))
Render settings:
Correct size:
Rendered size:

Very hard to see what is happening here as the image is very dark. Ratio looks a bit odd though. Turn off ‘Allow source to adjust frame size’ and see if that helps. If not, let us know the details of the original footage.

I tried and turned off the ‘Allow source to adjust frame size’ but unfortunately it did not help.
I’m totally lost, what could be causing this weird problem?

What are the specs of your original footage?

What player are you using? Maybe it’s a player problem?
Drop the rendered footage back onto the Vegas Pro timeline and see if you have the same problem.
It might also help if you post a screenshot of your project properties.
BTW, it’s not cropping… it’s stretching.
