    Ooops. My bad. Yes, that’s a whole different thing. Have C300 on the mind, working on a project I shot with one right now.

    Perhaps the c300 footage was shot with Canon log… That will greatly reduce the contrast and make everything look flat and ugly, until you apply the correct look-up table or aggressively color correct the image to bring the contrast back. The C300 is capable of producing beautiful, cinematic images… It shouldn’t look like “video”.

    I bought a Drobo to use for archiving projects and media… and ended up returning it. Copying to it was very slow, even with the FW800 interface, and there were some files that it would simply refuse to copy. I found it to be too unreliable to use for archiving.
