When I drag a stereo audio file in the track where my voice over rushs are, I can clearly see both channels (see figure below)

Yes Dave I understand that filling one channel with the other one does’nt create a stereo but since my TV audio output is connected with my 7.1 Pioneer audio, the sound is much more fine when it comes from both sides of the TV.
I am now recording my voice over with a new mono-channel microphone in a stereo audio track but when I try to drag some audio effects (like Panning, Fill with right/left…) I get a “do-not-enter” icon on my mouse pointer. May be this problem is a consequence of recording with a mono-channel microphone. Do you have a solution to correct this situation?

Hi Dave, if I understand correctly, instead of duplicatind the right channel on the left channel, if shall have the same sound if I center the track . In this case how can I center an audio track?
Furthermore, for which reason is it now impossible to apply the “Fill with right” effect in the Premiere 2019 issue?

Thank you for your precious assistance. In fact it was not the muting/unmuting icon that I had to activate but the solo icon of every track. After I have activated and then deactivated this icon on all tracks the problem has been solved.

Which improvment would you advice me to make first? Any suggestion on a video board (not too expensive)?

Thank you for the time you have spent to summarize your opinion about the best location of the Mediacache directory. I am thinking of buying an SSD drive for this purpose.

I have tried the Tom Laughlin method as quoted in your message and,at the first glance, it seems to work. I need to further investigate this method since I wish to know if the problem was due to the initial location of the Media Cache and Media Cache Files (in the System/User directory) which I moved to my project directory or to an other cause. In other words, is it detrimental to save the Media cache files in the System unit?
    Thank you for your assistance.

Thank you Tero for this reference, unfortunately neither my camcorder (Sony 4K FDR-AX33) nor my smartphone (Huawei Ascend G600) or my Ipad2 are quoted as capable of time-lapse video creation. My be here is amethod I shall try to sample one frame over 100 on the Premiere timeline

Thank you Wallace for your answer. My first question was about the lack of the “Track planner” for the 5.1 audio tracks in the Audio tracks mixer not only in Premier but also in Audition. Is it normal?
My second question was about the fact that the video track is not exported from Premiere to Audition when using the ‘Open sequence in Audition’. Apparently 1920 x 1080 MPEG (the Sony m2ts format) video footages are not supported by Audition. Is there a list of video format supported by Audition?
