I’ve found similar issues; I can’t export ProRes or DNxHD with Maximum Render Quality checked. Opacity and multiple layers involving transparency don’t render out properly.
This is a carry-over issue from CS5.5 and seems to affect Quicktime-wrapped destination media.

This is wonderful news! I will no longer have to warn users about the issues of using ClipWrap in a native-workflow; I say this as a paying ClipWrap customer, so this is better than good, it’s fantastic.
Regarding MTS, is there anyway to do something magical: give us an option to extract the User 2 clip name from the metadata and change the name of the clip to that?
For example, the AF100 we have starts each card at 00000.MTS, which makes file management hard. We were using ClipWrap until we discovered the slowdown. However if we can return to it, the biggest advantage would be able to read the Panasonic Metadata for the User Clip Names and name the files according to this setting. I say this because the name increments permanently, meaning ClipWrapped-renamed clips would never have the same name unless I made the mistake of resetting the counter in-camera.

Compatibility issues like this really bother me and I’m sorry to hear you’ve found one “after the fact.”
Here was my most recent: a Sonnet Echo Pro ExpressCard adapter didn’t work with the Sonnet Tempo SATA Expresscard 3/4 adapter I have, only the non-pro Thunderbolt adapter works… it’s crazy out there right now with lots of hidden proprietary features being embedded into some solutions.
I find eSATA to be a real challenge on the Mac which is too bad since USB3 isn’t any better for machines that didn’t ship with native USB3 (and even then it seems there are issues.)
Sure, we could could both looked up a compatibility list before hand (and will from now on I’m sure), but hey, it isn’t unreasonable to think that port-multiplied-eSATA is what is says it is….
Here’s to hoping Thunderbolt develops into a more friendly ecosystem.

It will not sadly (we ALL wish it did.) 28mbit is only for 60p (not 60p in a 24/30p wrapper – aka overcrank).
We have not seen many instances of serious banding, especially handheld. It will always depending on what the camera is pointing at; the finer the gradient the more chances there are of banding.
With the Hyperdeck you trade CPU requirements for disk requirements (space and throughput.) Banding will be minimally reduced but not enough to really warrant the time and expense if that’s what you’re after.

The new update is for 1080p60 at 28mbit. It does not affect bitrate of 30p, 25p and 24p shooting modes. (PH)
But if you want 1080p60 there is no other option.

No update – I keep looking for a fix but nothing so far. I will contact Wacom later this week to see if there is any movement, though I have a feeling they believe it’s Adobe’s doing.
The message I received said the QA team repeated and confirmed the issue with CS5.5 and CS6 but it works fine in CS5 so there was a change somewhere that affected this.

The AF100 already has a composite video out. Why not use that? It also has the R+L RCA audio outs.
The video quality should be fine since it’s down-converted in camera. Connect it directly to the recorder while you roll and voila! Instant DVD. No menus, no lower thirds, but at least it’s done essentially immediately.
You have the right idea, you just don’t need a box in-between.

Adobe sales to small business through their business store don’t tie the licenses to any platform; you get a serial number for both platforms (OS X and Windows).
While there isn’t a “coupon” or discount from moving from the “cloud” back to a pre-paid seat, I can’t imagine why it couldn’t be done.
